In early April 2020 as Covid-19 was spreading around the world and we witnessed blatant inequities in our economic system, we launched the first in our virtual community series with friend, Diné grandmother, and ceremonial leader Pat McCabe.
Reminding us of a longer view of the human journey, Pat prompted us to consider:
What could I be thinking, feeling, doing, that is different from how I usually think, feel, do?
This is a question we return to as we gather with folks from all over every month. Opening to our radical imagination is one of clearest paths to remembering who we are, anchoring to the life force that is always present and helping us transform our realities.
We provide space for opening our hearts and minds, sharing, learning, healing, and connection. In recognition of the tremendous gifts that you each bring, we invite you to share a piece of yourself with the rest of us.
For almost twenty years, CWC has been building collective capacity and skills to promote justice and help us face change with grace and presence. Now we need those practices and skills more than ever. These community spaces provide an opportunity to reconnect with the practices and artistry that are core to how we work.
The pandemic is a portal…and we need each one of our voices and dreams to help guide us towards our healing, liberation, and the world we dream is possible.
