Let the beauty we love be what we do.
— Rumi
CWC recognizes that how we work is as important as what we do. We understand that it takes practice and commitment to disrupt dominant culture norms that don’t align with our liberation and our values.
We envision a future where movements for racial, social and environmental justice are rooted in relationship, reciprocity, authenticity and beauty.
A future where whole systems are built on a foundation of justice, fairness, vitality and accountability, supporting strategies and governing structures that bring us closer together, not divide us. How might we risk, while simultaneously taking exquisite care of each other and our places?
Our team has been building relationships and trust by engaging in CWC’s Core Practices together as a team for years.
This community of practice is what helps us facilitate and lead authentically. We do what we invite our partners and collaborators to explore – to bring the power of practice into our day to day lives and work. We too are working across our differences, balancing the demands of every-day work with long term change. When we have the gift of working with you, whether it be a long-term partnership, consultation, coaching or a one-time event, we see this circle of our community of practice expanded.
We work relationally and develop programs that are responsive to the needs of the individuals and systems we are working with.
We understand that change is not easy. Working in partnership, we set the table for the journey, the revealing, and adapting–with hospitality, beauty, and rigor. We provide the practices that support individuals, organizations and systems to stay open, courageous, resilient and humble within the dynamic process of transformation.
