Center for Whole Communities is deeply grateful to our amazing partners in the creation of this website. Poonam Whabi, a long-time collaborator for the CWC team, expertly guided the design, planning and development for this website, in partnership with William Ramirez, and with support from Kazayra.
Our brilliant friend and artist, Alixa Garcia (she/her), worked closely with us to create the original artwork for this site. To see more of her work click here.
As a visual artist, Garcia’s work has been exhibited in museums and galleries both nationally and internationally. Her latest works, ‘Heroes Never Die’ and ‘Who’s Next: Up in Arms’, are currently and respectively in exhibition on the mega-screens at Times Square, New York City, and the Kunsthal Kade Museum, Netherlands. Born in Colombia, Garcia’s words, visions, and music continue to travel the world on a mission to transform destruction with creativity.
