At Center for Whole Communities, we think of ourselves as a practice-based organization. This means many things, but mostly it is an invitation – to ourselves, and our partners – to hold an open, engaged stance in the work of healing, justice and transformation. The world is asking big things of all of us right now – at the personal, political and planetary levels. But individuals can’t change overnight, and neither can organizations. It takes patience. And it takes practice.
We invite you to practice with us.
Our monthly Virtual Community Series is a great way to connect with the larger CWC community – a place where lately we’ve been exploring solidarity through dialogue, ceremony, poetry and stories. Our blog – thoughtful and provocative – highlights the voices and perspectives of core team members. We periodically offer embodied practice led by Kavitha Rao, drawing from yoga and other somatic modalities. And our podcast, Dive-In-Justice, hosted by Delma Jackson and Shadiin Garcia launched in February, 2021.
On our What’s Inspiring Us page, we’re curating offerings from the poems, art, articles, videos, reports and organizations our team shares with each other. Check out our gallery of images to get a felt sense of who we are and what we do. And, if you are moved, reach out. We love hearing from our community, and look forward to discovering the deeper ways we might be in practice together.
